Project Brief
Here the Apex Property Developments team have been working on a full ‘knock-through’ L-shaped home extension at this lovely property in Merthyr Tydfil.
Scope of Work
As part of this project, we carried out the following works:
- Full structural build of extension including RSJ steel beams, working closely with structural engineers;
- Installation of windows and doors, ensuring all is watertight;
- Removal of internal wall structures to open space;
- Removal of kitchen, floor tiles, and plaster boarding to strip out existing kitchen;
- First fix of all electrics and plumbing;
- Installation of bespoke Sky Lantern windows on extension roof.
The extension is now ready for the next phase of works, where we will carry out all the plaster boarding, skimming, and dry walling work.
We are also going to be levelling off and tiling the flooring, whilst also designing and fitting sound proofing to help reduce noise for the neighbouring properties.
